- Register for the PrintIT! Programme and let us know how many teachers and students will be taking part. All Teacher Course Books and Student Work Books are available to download free of charge here . £15 post and packaging cost will apply on all free resource packs posted out for Graphic Products and Product Design. These will be posted to your school within 2 weeks of receiving your request provided the resources are available.
- Consult the Scheme of Work here for your students. NB. These are guidelines only. You will be able to map the project to your own syllabus as required.
- The website and work books provide access to the resources for students to compete the course.
- The project can take 6-8 weeks to complete depending upon lesson time allocated by individual schools.
- The project may be undertaken at any time in the academic year between September and the middle of March the following year.
- The project MUST be undertaken by students individually although they may work in groups of up to 3. Groups are required to submit their joint entry in one work book.
- Where the project has been undertaken outside normal lessons, such as in an after school club or from individual interest, the year group entry must be made clear on the front of the Student Work Book.
- All work must be recorded and submitted in the Student Work Book. Any additional sheets must be securely attached (stapled) to the Student Work Book. We cannot accept electronic versions.
- Students should submit their workbook to their teacher once the project is completed.
- Please submit all entries to the PrintIT! Office.
- All entries MUST be received at Proskills by 30 March 2012
- Judging will take place in early April with student finalists and their schools being notified by the end of April 2012. NB. it will not be possible to notify unsuccessful schools individually. The shortlisted finalists will be posted on this website in early May.
- Runners up and winners will be given certificates.
- Teachers will be able to download certificates of completion for all students.
- The judges reserve the right to withhold an award if the work is not adjudged to be of a sufficiently high standard.
- The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence regarding the awards can be entered into.
- Entries will only be returned to schools if a SAE (stamped addressed envelope) is sent with the submissions. The value of the stamps on the SAE must equal or be greater than the value of the postage used to send the entries to us. DO NOT SEND PREFRANKED ENVELOPES.
